Are you pretending?

Okay, so I just read this article on wired with my girlfriend.
I pretty much tick 8/10 boxes :0

Last night I watched Delicatessen, which is a great French, dystopian film.

I also finally got around to watching Full Metal Jacket which was a masterpiece.

This is a placeholder for something good! (not really)

Here is a lesson in creative writing. First rule: Do not use semicolons. They are transvestite hermaphrodites representing absolutely nothing. All they do is show you’ve been to college.
-Kurt Vonnegut, A Man without a Country

Also, I received a letter for AIB telling me I got in :D

I don’t like talking about music, mainly because whatever you listen to someone will think you are a faggot. I’m just going to post a few links to stuff you should check out.

World of Warcrack and LittleBigContra

World Of Warcraft ‘more addictive than crack cocaine’ as teenager suffers convulsions after 24-hour-long game

Is the title of a article I read over at the daily mail website.

According to the Sweden’s Youth Care Foundation World of Warcraft is

the most dangerous game on the market

The warning comes after a Swedish boy of 15 collapsed after playing it for for 24 hours earlier this month.

Hospital doctors diagnosed an epileptic-type seizure brought on by sleep deprivation, lack of food, and too long a stretch of concentrated game playing. He has made a full recovery.
- extract from the daily mail article

I can totally understand where these people are coming from. I played World of Warcraft for 2 years on and off, and I spent a ridiculous amount of both time and money on it.
I’ve not played for a few months now, and every time I stopped playing before I always started playing again when some new feature arrives or an expansion comes out.
I was always hesitant to uninstall the game from my PC, because of the huge amount of time it takes to install and patch again.
This time I uninstalled it completely, so I could reclaim the hard drive space it was taking up. 12+gig is a lot of space.

In a slightly less addictive, but no less fun turn of events I’d like to share this video of “LittleBigContra” a level created for LittleBigPlanet for the PS3.

I’m going to get on playing though these levels now!

Sleep is for the week.

Posted in Life, Literature on March 3rd, 2009 by Charlie

I couldn’t sleep at all last night.
However I’ve got my portfolio together, and hopefully tomorrow I’ll get offered a place at Bournemouth Arts Institute.

oh also, a follow up video to Converge – Thaw was posted on youtube last night. Less healthy food than I’d like, but still great.
